Gound Allspice
Allspice got its name because it tastes like a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. It goes with pretty much anything that has a sweetness to it. If you could easily add tomatoes or carrots to the dish, then allspice would be a good choice.
Goes great with pot roast, meatloaf, meatballs, ham, fish, sweet or tomato-based chicken dishes, creamy soups, barbecue sauce, tomato sauce, cranberry sauce, cabbage, fruit, spinach, squash, turnips, sweet rolls and breads, cakes, puddings, and pumpkin pies.
