How to Make Perfect Bacon

The traditional way to cook bacon is to fry it in a pan. But, I hate to get splattered with grease, and I don't like it when the bacon gets too curly. It doesn't cook as even. So I cook mine in the oven - call me crazy, but the bacon comes out beautiful and it is easy to clean up.

How to Make Perfect Bacon

Bacon

Baking sheet
Foil

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet or baking sheet with foil, wrapping it over the edges. Lay the slices of bacon on the pan without overlapping.

Remember to flip the bacon over once while cooking. When the bacon looks almost done, keep a close eye on it so it doesn't burn. Let the bacon cook for a total of 10 to 15 minutes or until bacon is red and crispy.

Drain on paper towels and cover with another paper towel to absorb the grease.

Allow the baking sheet to sit out until the grease cools and solidifies. Then just use the foil to wrap up the grease and throw it away.
