Cole Slaw

Good ole cole slaw, the perfect summer side dish that takes about 2 minutes to make and is packed with healthy vitamins.

Cole Slaw

2 TBS red wine vinegar
1/4 cup natural cane sugar
3/4 cup Helmann's mayonnaise
celery seed (optional)
16 oz. package of shredded green cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots
salt and pepper

Mix vinegar and sugar until dissolved. Add mayo and celery seed (opt.). Fold in cabbage mixture until coated well. Salt and pepper to taste.

The variations are endless - use your imagination on this one!

You can add whatever veggies you have on hand, such as green pepper, cucumber, onions, celery, etc.

For a nice variation, substitute shredded broccoli stems for the cabbage to make broccoli slaw.
Make it a little more fancy by adding shredded apples, walnuts, almonds, dried cranberries, blueberries, dijon mustard, etc.
