Southern Style Sweet Tea

Southern Style Sweet Tea

5 cups hot water

5 Lipton Tea Bags
1 1/2 cups sugar

Bring 5 cups of water to a boil and remove from heat. Add 5 tea bags and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and pour hot tea into a gallon pitcher. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add cool water and ice to fill the pitcher. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve with lemon.
For reduced sugar tea, add 1 cup sugar.

For sugar free tea, replace sugar with splenda.

For unsweeted tea, omit sugar.

For peach tea, add peach flavoring or syrup.
