Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

This is a great dish to make ahead of time for picnics, potlucks, or family get togethers. The colors work well for Christmas, its healthy, and always a hit.

Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

2 bunches broccoli

1 head cauliflower
1 med. red onion, sliced thin
1 lb bacon cooked and crumbled
8 to 12 oz. shredded mozzerella cheese

Chop the tops off broccoli and cauliflower and cut into small pieces, no stems. Layer ingredients in a big bowl in order and let set overnight in fridge.

2 cups mayo
2 cups sugar
4 to 5 TBS vinegar

Mix and let set 4 hours.
Pour on the salad and toss together. Add chopped pecans and dried cranberries (optional). Enjoy!
