Hot Artichoke Dip

This is quite possibly the best appetizer ever, courtesy of my Mommy. (Yes, I still call her Mommy). Super easy to make and awesome with fritos scoops.

Hot Artichoke Dip

6 oz. jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sour cream
2 TBS garlic powder

Combine all ingredients and heat on low until cheese is thoroughly melted. I like to use a mini crock pot, but you can bake it in the oven at about 300 degrees until done. You could also heat it in a pot on the stove, stirring occasionally. If you make it ahead of time for a holiday get-together, just pop it in the microwave to reheat.

You can serve it with a veggie tray for dipping, toasted pita bread triangles, bruchetta bread, toasted baguette slices, triscuits, etc. But the favorite by far has been fritos scoops.
